New York Jets Vs Dallas Cowboys 12-19-2015 0 views

I am very surprised no member has any opinions expressed about this lone scheduled NFL game kicking off in an hour and change. I have no action on this game but being a huge NY Jets fanatic since 1980 I am hoping they can bring forth a spirited effort and take this post season implications road contest down. With the Jets at one point leading the defending champion Patriots earlier this season and by no means a walk over during the entire process of that game, and the Patriots now suffering injury issues on their offensive line, something wrong with Brady, and Gronks still having ongoing and lingering injury problems, Andy Dalton being injured for the Bengals and not really having a go to back up, the AFC south not having a dominant representative, and the Broncos similarly now having to rely on a stellar defensive performance, the AFC can really be up for grabs by any team fortunate to find their way into the post season. The Steelers are still a grave threat as always also IMO, and I still have a bad taste in my mouth when I think how we let them off the hook in the play offs enough route to their Super Bowl win. All I can say is "Go Jets Go!"

Good luck everyone!

Hey Tim, how are you? I took the Jets here but I wrote few lines explaining my pick. Now is too late to put it in here, but let me say something:

These Jets are trash. Sorry but thats what I think. It cant be easy to accept it for their supporters, but seriously, they are not good at all. The AFC East is a very poor division where teams like Miami or Buffalo was a big dissapointment. The Jets did it better, but how about their performance? They had Vick that was a good QB and they ruined him starting a shitty QB like Geno Smith. Now they are with Fitzpatrick that is far from being a reliable QB. Defensively they can fight and offensively they can run, but I see it as an average team. The US sports have this division/conferences system where you can go thru being a disaster and thats the case. I wish you all the best, but we all know that these Jets have a very short run in the playoffs if they reach there.

I dont like them, I dont like the Cowboys either and I am not angry, but it is simple, they are not good or at least that is what I think. One more time, I wish you good luck!

10-9 Dallas at the half :)

Take away the phantom horse collar tackle infraction called on Pace and equally non-existent not set offensive line call prior to the made FG forcing another try 5 yards longer and the Jets lead the Cowboys at the half. Suspect officiating will always plague the NFL unless every play is placed under the video review microscope. Unfortunately, this scrutiny would not be realistic, therefore the missed and phantom calls will continue to have direct implications in the sport of American football for decades to come. That aside, the league is still very entertaining :)

Jets missed an extra point tonight. They were the only team in the NFL not to miss an extra point since the start of the 2008 season.

Last time the Dallas Cowboys won a home game when throwing three interceptions was 2004 against the Detroit Lions.

The oddsmakers were bang on with the point spread in this one. Too much value lost if you like a favorite and the line moves from 2.5 to 3.

As usual, the game provided numerous emotional ups and downs, but was entertaining and I was pleased with the final result. Yes, the NY Jets are by no means a great team, but they have proven themselves to be at the very least a competitive team. After all, 9 wins is still a difficult task even if they are by small margins and a relatively weak schedule.. just ask the 13-0 Carolina Panthers :)

Dallas Cowboys lost five games this season when winning at halftime. Most in NFL.

Field goal kicker for the Cowboys, Dan Bailey, made all 5 field goals this year from 50+ yards. Most without a miss.

Extra point missed, field goal missed, and thats how you lose with the Jets. ***********************

I know all to well aitoralonso :) being a Jets fan means sometimes you lose even if they win. This win tonight now sets us up for disappointment in the future, false hope is sometimes worse than any hope at all lol the old it's better to just rip that band aid off than remove it slowly :)
