Teams might have a little more motivation to end the Raptors' streak and play with more energy on the defensive end, especially the Nets after losing a close one in Toronto a few days ago. If Ibaka is out, this might be the Rondae Hollis Jefferson revenge game. Beware of Rondae Hollis Jefferson! Okay but on a more serious note, Raptors at -4 might be a bit much. Raptors were at -6.5 at home against the Nets a few days ago. Let's say Kyle Lowry was to play that game. Then it probably would be at -7.5. To be conservative let's say home court advantage is around 2.5 points for the Raptors and the Nets (although I think it should be around 3 for the Raptors because they have one of the best home court advantage in the league). Then the line at 2.5 might make more sense, but the market pushed it up to 4. I get it, they're on a cool winning streak. But there's an argument that can be made that the Nets match up better against the Raptors compared to some other teams vs the Raptors. Dinwiddie and LeVert are both listed at 6'6". They both might have about 6 inches on Kyle Lowry and Fred VanVleet ( both listed at 6'). Last game between them, the Nets were actually +2 on turnovers and it was still a close game. I see the Nets turning up tonight and covering the spread.
