Mario Barrios Vs Keith Thurman 2-5-2022 0 views

Going with one time here, he is coming of a long layoff and the first loss of his career, but I think he has a lot to prove and enough left in the tank to win this fight. He will have more than enough motivation to win this fight, he wants to win the championship again and make a big payday (or 2).

I think the time off could work to his advantage, it gives him a chance to rest his body and get his mind right.

His opponent is also coming off of a loss, but he was stopped by a lightweight.

Thurman has fought the better competition and even though he lost to Manny, he came back from a 1st round knockdown to almost win the fight.

I expect a good fight here, both fighters with be focused and ready to fight.

Thurman by decision, good luck everyone

Nice writeup. I would take Keith without a second thought if this was a few years ago. I actually thought Thurman was the best at one point between Spence,Thurman,Garcia, and Porter. Once upon a time has let me down though. Barrios is good but he's not elite nor the level below. At best he's a B- fighter.

This is the perfect fight for a come back fight, shake off the rust and see what he has left. If he can't win this fight it is time to hang them up before he gets hurt.

No way Thurman was better than Spence, Spence would have won easy.

Thurman would be a huge favorite, if he didn't lose and not a long layoff, so might as well take advantage of the odds.

He did lose to Manny, but he talked a lot in the build up (which hurt him) and Manny isn't the easiest opponent to face (who can you spar to get ready), he did well later in the fight.

This fight will have all of his attention, I expect a good performance for Thurman, this is his career on the line, he can't lose.

He is the bigger and more experienced of the 2, fought the better competition, never been stopped, no way Thurman would have got stopped by a lightweight, it is his fight to lose.
