I can't believe how little respect the Broncos are getting here. Yes, the Texans are one of the best teams in this league (on paper), but did they have any real test this year so far? They played the poor Dolphins at home and the Jaguars in Jacksonville.
As for Denver, they won a big game vs. Big Ben and the Steelers. They also battled hard in Atlanta. Winning vs. Matt Ryan in Atlanta is a huge task. He is 26-4 SU at home and only three teams had ever beaten (NO twice and GB) him on his own turf. Denver was one possession away from a big comeback and a SU win even though Manning threw 3 INTs in the first quarter!
From what I'm reading, this Broncos defense is very underrated by the general public. They shouldn't! They are currently No. 9 in passing yards and No. 7 in rushing yards while playing, in my opinion, against two of the best QBs of this league.
In my opinion, the Broncos shouldn't be home underdog in this situation. The public is all over the Texans. It is now the "sexy" team to pick this year! I hate to go against Manning after a loss, and while I believe the Texans will make the playoffs, I won't be surprised at all if they lose to Denver on Sunday!
