About Gov. Christie approving, news is stating "But his action is likely to be challenged in court by the professional and collegiate sports leagues that fought New Jersey's efforts to overturn a ban on sports betting in all but four states."

I have read a couple of articles written by sports reporters in the gallery at the Supreme Court hearing and they think that NJ has a really good chance of winning here. The states rights argument seemed to hit pretty hard in the minds and questions of alot of the court. Which will hopefully mean by summer the court will give NJ the win and many states will move to legalize sports betting.

Here is a scenario that came to mind as I read this thread. Say that NJ wins in court. It won't take long for other states to jump on the bandwagon. If (and it's a big if) people start withdrawing their money in large numbers from the online sportsbooks how many of the sportsbooks keep enough money in reserve to be able to honor all the withdrawls ? I can see quite a few of the smaller outfits closing the door and leaving the customers out in the cold. Again it's probably a longshot, I tend to think that the withdrawls would probably come in little by little and maybe some of the books have enough reserve to pay but I'd be surprised considering how slow some of them are in paying now.
