11/5/19 - Vancouver -125 vs St Louis. I don't bet many favorites in hockey, but this is a rare game where the chalk is underpriced. The Canucks have an amazing expected Goals Against (xGA) 1.9, a High Danger Against (HDA) of 104 (league avg is 191), and block 14 shots per game. Simply a great defense. They also have a Corsi For Percentage (CF%) 51.7%, which means they control the puck more than their opponents. The Blues have an awful xGA 6.7, a lousy HDA 219, block only 11 shots per game, and have a below average CF% 48.4. My model has the Canucks -173, a 63.4% chance to win. At -125, 55.6%, consider taking the 7.8% advantage in price.
